Birth Doula services include:
  • a minimum of two prenatal visits (not including the initial meeting)
  • availability from the time of hiring (during regular hours) for informational
    or emotional support
  • on-call 24hrs/day from two weeks before the birth up to two weeks
    afterwards
  • breastfeeding support immediately after birth
  • at least one postpartum visit to make sure the new family is adjusting
    well, provide breastfeeding support, help process the birth and answer any
    questions or concerns within the doula's scope of practice
  • ability to attend home births, hospital births, waterbirths, VBAC's & c-
    sections (where permitted)
  • present the new family with a birth story and personally made
    dreamcatcher
  • provide photography services if desired
  • access to the doula's resources which may include the lending of books,
    videos, dvd's, birthing balls etc.
  • also includes meditation, toning and relaxation if desired by the client.
    Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher for Conscious and Sacred Birthing.
  • back-up doula services available for an additional $75

Preparing for Birth Sessions:
  • three prenatal 90 min. sessions exploring "Natural Birth", Comfort
    Measures, 3R's- Relaxation, Rhythm and Ritual, Optimal Fetal
    Positioning, Signs and Stages of Labour, Birth and Postpartum Plans,
    Relaxation and Meditation Practices
  • one postpartum visit
  • access to birth resources
Ideal for couples who want the support of a doula during pregnancy, but not
during labour or birth. Fee: $300
Preparing for Birth Bodywork Session:
Learn simple and effective energy medicine techniques and relaxation skills to
prepare your body for birth, to be used regularly during pregnancy. 1 hour
session- $65
Mom and Baby Restorative Session:
A gentle and nurturing bodywork session to restore balance and facilitate
harmony between mom and baby in the "fourth trimester". 1 hour session- $65
Reduced rate for Doula clients- $50
